If you only use chat AI and keep fearing you're late, steal this: 1 promise, 0 paywalls. [S001]

I almost scrolled past Santifer's sponsor page too. Then I realized the real hook wasn't a shiny extra. It was the sentence that said what would never be locked away.

👀 Plot twist: the page says the project stays free, with no premium version, no paywall, and no sponsor-only content [S001]. That's 3 separate no's, and weirdly, that feels more trustworthy than a long perk menu.

GitHub already gives creators the usual menu: early access, shoutouts, newsletters, even private rooms behind the rope [S002]. Santifer flips the math: 1 payment, 0 locked features, more time for the person building it.

🔓 That hit me because so much of the internet feels like a hallway full of tiny locked doors. The cleanest sponsor pitch might be your "never selling this" list, not your "here's what you unlock" list.

Only looked at Santifer's GitHub Sponsors page and GitHub's own sponsor docs on July 3, 2026, so don't stretch this to every project. Save this before you write your own support page, or share it with a friend building in public: what would you promise to never charge for?
