140,000 stars for 4 rules is the part that should make you stop.

I almost scrolled past multica-ai / andrej-karpathy-skills because I thought it was another post about AI getting better at coding. Plot twist: the big idea is the opposite. The smarter AI gets, the more you need a way to tell whether it's guessing or actually helping.

What grabbed me was the mismatch. On the outside: about 140,000 stars and 14,400 forks, basically people making their own copies.[S001] On the inside: basically 1 tiny guide and 4 rules.

Lowkey, those 4 rules are very human: say what you're assuming out loud, keep it simple, touch only what matters, and prove the job worked.[S002] People are not cheering for faster typing here. They're cheering for a way to stop expensive guessing.

That hit me because so many 30-minute AI wins turn into 3-hour cleanup sessions when the answer sounds smooth but nobody checked the edges. A hot tool is worth watching only if it changes your next decision, not just your feed.

Boundary check: I only reviewed the public project pages on May 21, 2026, not a live team setup, so real-world results could look different. Save this for the next time an AI tool goes viral, and tell me: what do you check first, speed or judgment? 👀🧠
