6.5k people didn't star this because of ADHD. They starred it because AI small talk is exhausting. 😵
If you've ever almost scrolled past an AI tool post, then panicked that you might miss the one thing that actually matters, this is for you. A tool is worth your time only if it changes your next move.
When I checked the project page, I saw 6.5k stars and 259 forks, but the real pull wasn't the label. It was the promise to stop the useful answer from getting buried under wrapping paper.[S001][S002]
The main example shows 2 versions of the same reply: before, you get filler like great question and hope this helps; after, those 2 soft phrases are gone and the useful part lands first.[S002] Ngl, that tiny switch says more than the name ever could.
📌 That's why my take is simple: this didn't blow up because people wanted an ADHD label. It blew up because a lot of us are tired of being walked to the answer when we just want the answer.
I only checked the project page and its main example, not a full install, so YMMV if you use it a different way. Save this for the next time a chatbot talks around the point, and share it with the friend who's done with polite fluff. Would you turn that fluff off?
